If you’re enjoying Always On, would you consider dropping us a $20 tip?
I'm kidding — hopefully that’s obvious. But if you feel pressure to tip at more businesses than before, you’re not alone. According to a new analysis by my colleague Lindsey Roeschke, one in every three U.S. adults says the frequency or amount they’re expected to tip has increased in the last five years. But the place consumers most say is necessary to tip remains the independent restaurant. With that in mind, we wanted to use Morning Consult Intelligence to dive into the cohort of consumers who are dining out at restaurants weekly.
I asked MorningConsult.AI to retrieve data on this audience:

You can ask our AI chatbot about a number of different behaviors and brands. Here are some examples below:
- What media brands do business travelers favor the most?
- Where in the U.S. does White Claw win over millennial women most?
- Compare consumer sentiment for Spotify vs. Apple Music
- What’s the trust trajectory for Sony in Japan?
Dive in yourself here. But for now, we’re going to look e into some audience traits for consumers who dine out at least once a week. Thanks to our robust survey engine, we have more than 127k respondents from the past year who meet this behavior. Don't have access but want to explore? Get in touch here.
