Fast Company published an in-depth feature on the launch of MorningConsult.AI, Morning Consult’s new AI-powered platform that puts real-time public opinion data into the hands of decision-makers in seconds.
“What we’re trying to do is take the intuition that drives a lot of brand marketing and strategy decisions and pair it with real-time public opinion,” CEO Michael Ramlet told Fast Company. “That’s what this tool enables.”
Built on over 80 million proprietary survey interviews across 40+ countries, MorningConsult.AI democratizes access to high-quality consumer insight by allowing users to interact with data conversationally.
One of the most compelling examples in the story came from Michael Stutts, Chief Brand Officer at Dollar Shave Club, who has been using the platform to generate heat maps, brand awareness breakdowns, and campaign insights at lightning speed.
“Within seconds I had what would have taken untold amounts of time and resources to do,” Stutts said. “On a call with a retail partner, I was able to immediately answer a question using the AI — eliminating the need to follow up later after internal consultation.”
The story also explores the broader mission behind the tool — including Ramlet’s vision to maintain a free version for students, nonprofits, and small businesses.
“I don’t want to wait to send this email off and find out the answer after I had to make the decision,” Ramlet said. “I need the data right now, and I need to be able to ask it questions.”
MorningConsult.AI is already helping brands test creative, compare competitors, segment audiences, and track reputation in real time. One user submitted 90 questions in a single two-hour session — a testament to both the speed and strategic value of the platform.
